Heather, originally from Virginia, and Joel, a Houston native, now live in Round Rock, Texas. Both are avid readers and writers. Heather enjoys creative writing and creating witty ad copy while Joel thrives on political debate and sports rivalry.
Joel and Heather met while both working at a public affairs firm in Washington, DC. They have since also worked together at a medical technology start-up company and for Dell Inc. Scribal Warriors was a natural progression for the married couple who enjoy both playing and working together.
When Heather and Joel aren't attached to a laptop, they can be found spending time with family and friends in both Texas and Virginia. Also in residence are Harold and Sonic, two clever little hedgehogs.
